Lake Malawi Sea Kayaking |
|
If you are looking for a real breakaway and are keen to try something different, we can highly recommend a trip to Mambo Island, Lake Malawi.
The tiny island camp, with capacity for only fourteen guests, features tastefully furnished tents with shaded decks, hammocks, hot bucket showers and ‘eco-loos’. A dining area with bar and a watersport gazebo complete camp infrastructure.
The whole camp is built of timber, thatch and canvas, and is perched on high rocks overlooking the water, blending with the African bush to create a ‘Robinson Crusoe’ atmosphere of rustic charm. The whole island falls within an exclusive concesion, guaranteeing privacy in paradise.
Sea Kayaking or Lake kayaking is the main reason we chose to check out this destination a couple of years ago, and believe me, we are still talking about it. The Kayaking is not compulsory but is highly recommended. This 7 day getaway has got to be one of the best remidies for living in the fast lane! When last did you read more than one book in a week? There are options to Scuba Dive, but realisticly, most of the amazing fish life can be seen by snorkling.
Packages start from around R12.150.00p/p ex Jhb.(please phone for a final quote depending on your needs and fluctuations in the airfares)July 08 Check out some photo's below;
